Question 4 - What are some common causes of computer failure?

Dust is probably the leading cause of computer failure in most systems. The computer cooling fans will pull dust into a computer case no matter how clean of a home you have. When dust collects on electronic components, heat will build up which is the second leading cause of failure. You should disconnect all wires and other components from your computer case and clean the case often. Contact MCS if you are not comfortable in doing this. Not having your computer plugged into a surge protector or battery backup. Low voltage can damage your system as can surges caused by lighting. Help prevent this by using battery backup and surge protection.

MCS claim's no responsibility for damage or injury that may occcur while performing any of these preventitive measures.
